To get the plane the airports closest and most used ones are in order of Genoa (Cristoforo Colombo) to Pisa (Galileo Galilei), the Florence Peretola Airport to Milan Malpensa or Milan Linate Airport, or that of Rome-Fiumicino Airport.
From these airports is easy to use the train; Cinque Terre are easily accessible and well connected to the main Italian railway lines, the nearest reference station for long-distance trains is La Spezia Centrale.
Even with the car you can easily reach us; use the Highway and exit at La Spezia.
From the gate through the city and along the coastal highway you get to Manarola in about 30 minutes.

Arrive by train in Manarola

The Cinque Terre are served by the national railway line Rome-Genoa-Turin which is well connected with other major Italian cities and towns.
Coming from Rome, situated on the Rome-Pisa-Genoa line, and coming from Milan on the Milan-Genoa-Pisa line, get out at La Spezia Centrale. From La Spezia Centrale you can easily get to Manarola by train. It takes about 10 minutes.
The best station to the Cinque Terre and the La Spezia Centrale in which trains stop at national and regional trains.
From the station of La Spezia Centrale you can easily get to Manarola; many regional trains arrive and depart from the Cinque Terre.
It takes about 11 minutes.
There are many trains during the day (about one train every hour) and during the night there are few trains to the Cinque Terre.
If you need to use the Taxi the distance between the station of La Spezia and the village of Manarola is only 16 km.
If you arrive to the Cinque Terre from the north (from Milan-Genoa) evaluated the possibility of taking a regional train (stop at almost all stations) from Genoa Principe or Genova Brignole with a stop in Manarola, avoiding off at La Spezia Centrale and go back to direction Genoa.

Arrive by car

If you use the Highway, get the A12 Genoa-Livorno or in the A15 Parma-La Spezia.
Take the La Spezia exit on the A12 Genoa-Livorno Highway; is the shortest way to reach Manarola.
We do not recommend exit Highway tollgates of Carrodano or Brugnato.
The distance between the exit of La Spezia from Casa Capellini is about 20 km.
Drive through the city following the signs to Portovenere-Cinque Terre; thereafter to the Cinque Terre, to Riomaggiore (do not go into the villages of Riomaggiore) until you get to Manarola.
In Manarola there is a public parking to payment and along the road they are drawn where it is possible to park.
During the day a free bus carries out race from the parking to the village.
During the night it is possible to enter only on foot in the village.
It takes about 5 minutes on foot.
Once that you will be in the public square in front of the church you will find us easy.
The house is in the highest part of the village close to the church square, by the steps leading to the sea.

To reach the Cinque Terre and Manarola is simple; the five village are well connected both by rail and road network.
They are also reachable by sea; but it is a possibility to be considered only for tourists; when you are already housed, to visit the countries and the nearby localities.
If you arrive by train you can easily reach all the towns of the Cinque Terre, all the places of the Ligurian Riviera and also in the neighboring Tuscany.
Between the villages of the Cinque Terre, Manarola and the country that has the best accessibility by car, the road is wide and in excellent condition; you arrive in a few minutes from La Spezia (the distance is 16 Km).
La Spezia is well connected to the Highway network; is easy with departure from Manarola to reach in a short time, (for example) the cities and towns of Tuscany such as Pisa, Siena, Florence, Lucca or of Emilia (Reggio Emilia, Modena, Parma, Bologna, etc).
